In one of my early games I built a small castle (actually a fort) so I decided to upscale this time to a bigger version of that design.
I first built a brick factory to create the bricks from raw materials. I then used those resources to build my upscale fort complete with towers and lava moat (more about that in another post).
I leveled the area I wanted and laid out the foundation with sandstone.
I laid out the towers on each corner. They are not all the same size so that I can use them for various reasons (you will eventually see)
I used cobble and basalt (from Red Power 2) to layout the floor plan.
Put up walls on the ground floor with random windows.
I put the roof on the ground floor using all the wood from the pirate ship I conquered.
